Joint Meeting of the 13th FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Secretariat Summit and FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Committee Meeting
The joint meeting of both 13th FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Secretariat Summit and FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Committee Meeting was successfully organised concurrently with FIABCI Asia Pacific Real Estate Congress (APREC) 2011 led by the Organizing Chairman Dr Yu Kee Su, at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama, Selangor, Malaysia on 12th October 2011 and attended by about 40 members from Australia, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia and United Kingdom.
The meeting was jointly chaired by Chairman of FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Secretariat Dato’ Alan Tong and President of FIABCI Asia Pacific Regional Committee Ir. Teguh Satria. FIABCI World President 2011 – 2012 Alexander Romanenko and President of FIABCI Finance Committee Martin von Hauf and Vice President John Chambers were also invited to attend the meeting. Others at the meeting are Regional Secretariat Honorary Treasurer Yeow Thit Sang and Vice President Michael Oh, Regional Committee Secretary General Robyn Waters and Vice President Eddy Hussy.
Presidents and representatives from various chapters attended the meeting included President of FIABCI Indonesia Setyo Maharso and Executive Director Sugeng Riyadi; Former President of FIABCI Philippines Bobby SY; Secretary General of FIABCI Singapore Peter Koh; representative of FIABCI Japan Kimiko Koura; Past World President John Greig and Former FIABCI Board Member Honorable Senator Dato’ Abdul Rahim were also in the meeting. Others members are Ronn Yong, Jasslyn Sim, Joy Cyndie Ng, Nitao Nakamura, Rusnani Abd Rahman, Kasrisa Chong, Lau Yock Yin, Blair Duffy, Theresia, Francis Loh, Julie Wong, , Meiko Handoyo, Michael Geh, Rusmin Lawin and etc.
The meeting unanimously agreed that it is important for Kuala Lumpur regional secretariat for FIABCI Asia Pacific to be remained permanently for the benefit of the member in the region. However the Unitary Fee for Members under the Asia Pacific Regional Secretariat would be confirmed in the December Business Meeting 2011 to be held in Lisbon, Portugal this December.
Meeting also confirmed that FIABCI Singapore will be hosting the APREC 2013 in Singapore.
